About
Michał Kucharski (born in 1997 in Krakow, Poland) is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Den Haag, Netherlands, working primarily with video installations, film, photography and experimental printing. With his work, he explores human relations and social behaviors, in a staged and directed context. Working with people is an essential part of this process, where he questions the established boundaries in daily life. His projects often involve actors but also people met in public spaces. By creating narratives and scenarios, he achieves an intimate exploration of emotions, beliefs, and norms. His installations typically result in multi-channel audiovisual works that create immersive environments, hinting at darkness and challenging notions of reality and fiction.
